Copier update/recopy doesn't seem to work quite right.

I cannot run copier update or copier recopy. I believe the issue is related to the nested copier-answers, where the template is relative to the answers.

It may be the case that creating the project root directory isn't especially well supported unless the copier answers are outside of it.

It does seem like this might be configurable, but I haven't looked closely enough yet.

Hey @ebolyen so we don't currently have any docs or usage recommendations for community developers to use update/recopy commands. I know we had talked about this as a potential for updating existing Github actions but I don't think that ever worked quite right (because it will always just overwrite the entire file). Did you have any updated desired usage for these commands?

I wanted to answer the questions differently, and so tried to run the correct command so that the answers file was updated (as it indicates in the comment).

In principle this would let me update the URL for the project and change bits of metadata which are sprinkled over a few files. In these situations, a merge conflict is acceptable because I am doing this locally and don't want to miss something.

It does look like we can still access the "project name" via _folder_name so if we were to just update the instructions to mkdir q2-foo instead then I think this would all still work fine, but then you could change any of the answers and get updates. (For example, switching your base distro, or adding a different email).
