This addon introduces a cad-like feature, which create edges that have consistent distance from original selected edges.

Thanks for this information @bitacovir . I have added to our repo, but since it does belong to another one (which contains other useful plugins) I should find the best way to clone it so when it gets updated in the orginal repo it could also be uploaded into ours.
