Hi Cern Golang team !

I'd love to try to help with the development of golbd.
I'm not quite used to hackaton so this may not be the best channel to talk about this 🤷 .

Before digging into the code,
This would be very helpful if you could provide a docker-compose.yml / Vagrantfile / k8s stack or equivalent that would allow a quick bootstrap of a development infrastructure

Regarding the configuration file, I plan to use something like the testloadconfig file. Is this okay ?

Hi Remi,

We do have https://github.com/cernops/golbd/blob/master/Dockerfile that you could use for your testing/development.

The configuration in https://github.com/cernops/golbd/blob/master/tests/testloadconfig is fine.
In fact, all the tests should hopefully provide you an idea of how the lbd works.

Unfortunately, I cannot made the Configuration management user guide visible out of CERN, on the other hand, I am pasting the DNS LB content into https://github.com/cernops/golbd/wiki with the caveat that it refers to Puppet and other tools used at CERN that are not actually necessary to run the golbd.
