system select menu: additional "pages" options

It would be cool if we could have the system select menu (optionally) automatically carve itself into separate pages based on the user's current system sorting scheme. For instance, if the number 1 sorting field is set to Brand, there would be a separate tab for Sony, for Nintendo, for Atari, etc.. If set by type, it would be one page for handhelds, one for computers, one for home consoles...
