Stopping playback mid-note #90
Description
When stopping/pausing playback, the current notes finish playing – which can take a little time after tapping the stop button. Allowing the current notes to finish is less abrupt, and nice in some situations. However, sometimes I'd like to stop it immediately, without finishing the current notes. Is this possible?
My use case is on a sheet music page – when a user clicks in the music, it should start playing from that point immediately, and cancel any previous audio. Currently, the previous note continues to play while the first note in the clicked measure starts, making it hard to pick out the sound of the new notes.
