hey, I’ve noticed that Codex’s question tool often seems unavailable or just doesn’t work when I’m using LazyCodex.
this is especially annoying when using interactive skills like Matt Pocock’s Grill Me skill:
https://github.com/mattpocock/skills/tree/main/skills/productivity/grill-me
normally, Codex should be able to ask me questions through the question tool while it keeps working. instead, it ends up posting the questions directly in chat.
that means the flow becomes:
Codex stops and asks something in chat
I have to notice it, reply manually, and wait
then it has to pick the task back up again
it sounds small, but it slows things down a lot, especially for workflows where Codex needs to challenge assumptions or get quick clarification before continuing.
with the native question tool, I could reply immediately while it’s working and it could just keep going without breaking the flow.
would be great if LazyCodex could support this more reliably, because right now it makes interactive workflows feel way more clunky than they should be.
