Colors and text alignment

I still don't understand how CSS works with the new native themes, legacy skins, and new skins created with the Skin Designer.
On my actual Android device, the text alignment and colors differ from what I see in the simulator. I've tried every combination of options in the Simulator, but the results on the Simulator and the actual device are still different. I also don’t understand why the new skins have huge borders around the screen.

It used to be much simpler in the past. The style that appeared in the Simulator, in terms of colors and text alignment, was the same on real devices. The only difference was between Android and iOS.
