ScriptNexus UI Design QA

Scope

  • Visual target: selected "Bright Studio" concept (option 2).
  • Implementation viewport: 1280 x 820 desktop window.
  • Surfaces reviewed: dashboard, Python scripts, WPS scripts, Chrome JS scripts.
  • Supporting surfaces reviewed in code: settings, import, and export dialogs.

Visual Comparison

The implementation preserves the selected direction's light-gray workspace, compact white navigation, blue-violet primary accent, editorial headers, grouped commands, and structured split-pane work areas. Native PyQt6 constraints were respected without changing existing product behavior.

Findings

  • P0: none.
  • P1: none.
  • P2: none.
  • P3: the WPS ribbon preview retains some compact legacy control styling because those controls represent the editable ribbon structure. This does not reduce readability or break the selected direction.

Verification

  • Python compilation passed for app.py and the complete ui package.
  • Dashboard, Python, WPS, and Chrome JS pages rendered successfully with real Qt widgets at 1280 x 820.
  • No clipped primary actions or overlapping panes were found.
  • git diff --check passed.
  • The repository currently contains no automated tests (pytest: no tests ran).
  • Direct Windows capture was unavailable because the Computer Use runtime could not resolve an exported @oai/sky package subpath. Qt offscreen rendering was used for the visual captures instead.
