[Feature]: permission inheritance

Description of the new feature / enhancement

It would be nice if when installing previously not installed versions of node.js, the newly created folder would inherit permissions from its parent. (i.e. the equivalent of the command icacls «folder» /inheritance:e)

Scenario when this would be used?

This would allow installation of nvm for windows in a way that would seamlessly allow its use in Azure DevOps Server (on-premises).

Thank you for opening this. I'm not sure if this will land in NVM for Windows or Author Runtime, but I do think it should be added. I'll keep this open as a note to myself to look into this for the next release.

Not to highjack this, but is it possible to get a status update on Runtime? Is it close? Are we talking weeks or months?

@mdodge-ecgrow we're aiming for a release at the end of this month or the first week of July. Truthfully, the slow pace has been me trying to cram too much into Runtime v1, so we're scaling back to get it released (which is still a major improvement over NVM4W). The plan is monthly (or better) updates after that.
