How to add notes or personal commentary?

Hello all,

I am using the archlinux repo version and when clicking on Studypad it says that this feature is disabled at the moment because of dependency issues.

Is there a way to at least get around this for now? Notes are a crucial part of any bible study.

Maybe im missing something obvious here as how to get this working until future versions.

At the moment, only NixOS, older versions of Fedora, or the current Windows builds have a working notes/studypad feature. The library that is used for the editor has not been maintained in a very long time and is not present in most Linux distributions.
