Code still usable or legacy?

I noticed in one of the examples you linked to https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gajs/eventTrackerGuide?csw=1 .
When visiting this link you will notice a big warning message from Google, saying it is legacy code.

Is this class still up to date?
