Darktable 5.6.0 crashes when using Rotate and perspective module #21517

Describe the bug

Attempting to straighten images via Rotate and perspective results in system crashes.

Steps to reproduce

Perform rotate and perspective on either NEF or denoised dng images crashes rotate and perspective

Expected behavior

Function normally

CPU Intel Core i7-10700 x 16
RAM 32 GB
GPU Nvidia GTX 960
OS is installed on SSD, images are on external HDDs NTFS formatted
Using GNOME X11 DE

Are you using OpenCL GPU in darktable?

Yes

If yes, what is the GPU card and driver?

GPU Nvidia GTX 960 - 2GB VRAM - Latest Linux driver version 580 updated via OS. AI settings is set to CPU in DT.

Please provide additional context if applicable. You can attach files too, but might need to rename to .txt or .zip

Images have only basic pipeline modules applied on DT startup. I normally apply Rotate and perspective before performing other changes.
