Sorry, I don't see any use for this. We provide information through border colors (mode, focused, pinned, selectied etc.). Border gradients would just make that information harder to see. |

Basically, when someone wants a new feature, I would ask how that feature improves their workflow. It doesn't need to improve mine, but at least it has to improve someone's. If the answer is just "it doesn't, but it looks pretty", then I need to see if "pretty" is enough to justify the cost versus implementing other "non-pretty" things that actually improve someone else's workflow. You need to understand this project doesn't have many contributors, so 99% of the development time is mine. If this was Hyprland, Niri, KDE or GNOME, we could add stuff right and left, but it is not. |
