error: could not lock database: File exists
if you`re sure a package maanger is not already running, you can remove /var/lib/pacman/db.lck

Try to remove the /var/lib/pacman/db.lck as super user

Did this Pacman database freeze occur after running update-astroarch?

Hello, I remove db.lck and then ran the configuration/installation procedure again, but it is interrupted and gives the message: Installation failed. Package Manager error. The pacakage manager could not prepare updates. The command

pacman -Sy

returned error code 1

in astroarch configurator the following warnings appear:

this computer does not satisfay some of the recommended requeriments for installing Astroarch. Installation can continue but some features might be dissable.
!- there is not enough drive space. At least 5.5 GiB is required
!- the installer is not running with administration rights
