Development checklist

GM-01 implementation

• Create canonical AGENTS.md and import-only CLAUDE.md.
• Record CLI, grammar, snapshot/store, and gate/privacy ADRs.
• Record source-backed engineering research.
• Complete and retain the blocking Codex 0.144.4 compatibility spike.
• Scaffold the strict Bun/TypeScript package and storage-focused test harness.
• Implement the local SQLite snapshot store, immutable envelopes, and deterministic join helper.
• Verify state-root escape rejection, cross-run input rejection, iteration-aware self selection, artifact URIs, and deterministic join uniqueness constraints.
• Decide and enforce duplicate logical-activation identity when the scheduler integration exists.
• Implement config/compiler/scheduler/adapter/trace/templates boundaries after the live Codex gate passes.
• Add paired YAML/JSON valid and invalid fixtures.
• Add deterministic fake-Codex contract tests and one safe real-Codex smoke after the pending live gate.
• Test color/no-color, JSONL, exit codes, interruption, init overwrite safety, context limits, immutable snapshots, and reversed-branch join stability.
• Run fresh formatting, linting, typecheck, storage unit tests, and build.
• Maintain risk-based automated coverage at a 90% target; explicitly cover security boundaries, context/data isolation, and critical failure paths without chasing 100% coverage.
• Run package contents and README command replay when the public CLI exists.

Later release gate

• Confirm public repository, license, support route, and package owner.
• Recheck registry name and publisher credentials immediately before release.
• Inspect npm pack contents and install the tarball in a clean environment.
• Publish only with explicit authority; verify npm view and public bunx.
