Please rebuild alpine arm64 images

apk is currently failing to work correctly on alpine arm64 images when running under qemu.

A couple of issues have already been reported and worked around / fixed in apk-tools 3.0.2.

Would be great to rebuild the python (and other languages I guess) images on a newer alpine so they have a working apk out of the box on environments like github CI.

Unfortunately, we don't have a simple way to rebuild images on demand. Images in Docker Official Images are only built through a meaningful Dockerfile (build context) update or if the base image is updated (in this case alpine:3.23).

This is an issue with the qemu provided by docker/setup-qemu-action and not technically something in the image (even though Alpine updated apk to work around the issue). If you install the qemu-user-static package instead of relying on the docker/setup-qemu-action, it works without the apk update. See also docker-library/ruby#521 (comment).
