unicode handling #1
Description
in java, simpl wasn't handling unicode supplementary characters correctly, which was fixed recently (see ecologylab/simplJava@cf947f7).
c# may or may not have this issue. we may want to check c#'s unicode representation to make sure that this does not happen. see the mentioned commit for a test case.
