Is it possible to draw UI elements from a dynamic library.

I want to add a plugin system to my app so that people can draw their own layouts inside of the host app with data provided by it.

Ideally the host app would call something like pub fn show(ui: &mut Ui) that resides inside of a dll/so loaded with dlopen. I tried exactly this approach but the app crashes when I do that.

What would be a better way to do this? Thanks

I haven't tried it out, but only feel that you could use egui + wasm to achieve your goal. egui makes the UI, while wasm tells the UI thread which and how many elements to render, following a same contract that is defined by wit.
