sign_in_required exception

Hi, thanks for these great example apps!

When running the inherited_widget_authentication code, I'm getting the following exception:

PlatformException (PlatformException(sign_in_required, com.google.android.gms.common.api.ApiException: 4: 4: , null))

Any idea about what's happening?
