There has recently been a big effort to create a new launcher for Fiji that will more easily allow for upgrading the version of Java. As part of this effort, I tested the FilamentDetector with Java 21/JavaFX 21. The version compiled with Java 8/JavaFX 8 starts without generating any errors when using Java 21.
I attempted to detect filaments on a video with long DNAs. Sadly this never finished. I am not sure why, but it is probably the sample video. I will continue testing with other samples.
As I used the plugin more, I got several of these errors. I am not sure if there are related to using the Java 8 compiled version with Java 21 or always existed. Will continue testing and including errors here. Next time I will also copy the errors instead of taking a screenshot...
