Can't see the status of pomodoro in topbar

Issue Summary

I can't see the preview of the timer in topbar of my gnome interface no more.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start the pomodoro timer;
2. Observe the top bar.

Expected Behavior

The expected was to appear something like a small clock in the top bar.

Current Behavior

There isn't the small clock. If I want to see the status of the pomodoro, I need to open the application window.

Possible Solution

I have no idea, but I guess the cause is some recent atualization.

I think your GNOME version is too old, you need an earlier version of the extension.
You also need to add some details about the OS your running and what version of gnome-pomodoro you have installed.
If this is not the case, you need to go to extensions and try to enable it. If it was unable to load, then a red icon will appear. I don't use Gnome anymore but I think you either need to click on it or hover it to see the error message. Post it here if there is any.

In case of an error, the OS may disable all extensions. Check the Extensions app - the first toggle...

Debian 12 repos has a package gnome-shell-pomodoro 0.22.1, which is compatible with your GNOME 43. The version incompatibility is unlikely... Check if there are any warnings next to the Pomodoro extension in the Extensions app, and if the extension is enabled.

You may download the extensions manager app and enable the Pomodoro extension from there so it would appear on your top bar.

the workaround is not working as of ubuntu 25.10, the extension is not even displayed in the extension manager :/

@ximilian GNOME Shell detects system wide extension only at session start. If you don't see the extension, it should be detected after logging out.

Thank you to everyone who helped me!
The extension had been automatically disabled. So I went to the Pomodoro website and downloaded the specific version for my old Gnome. Then I enabled the extensions.
