Bring back execution of custom commands on timer events

No, not really.

I used this feature in the old version to notify Home Assistant of the current timer state and automate some stuff & track statistics from there. The new version of the app (great work, thank you!) does not seem to support the execution of custom commands, which is the only thing holding me back from fully using the new version.

Describe the solution you'd like

Bringing back the execution of custom commands, or some other easy to use way to observe the state of the timer to trigger custom commands. Maybe there is already a solution I'm missing, that would only require a short documentation hint or migration guide from the old version.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I considered just scrapping the Home Assistant integration entirely, as it's really not necessary, but nice to have.

Hi! Custom Actions / Automation is not available in the Flathub version due to restricted permissions. Reviewers didn't like the idea of a timer with commandline access.

It's enabled by default when you build it from source, or from Arch repos (I haven't tested it). It got updates too, more details are here.

You could use D-Bus API

Unfortunately, there is no quick migration... I hope the new UI is more self-explanatory

I'd like to introduce builtin integrations (considering IFTTT, n8n and time trackers). If you share your usecase, maybe it could get supported one day.
