The photo insert identifier system uses the id field as a unique key to:

  1. Track records through the photo scoring pipeline

  3. Merge photo data into both JSON files used by the web UI
Flow:
  sekula_index.json (with 'id' field)
    ↓
  photo_feature_extractor.py (preserves 'id')
    ↓
  photo_scored.jsonl (scored records with 'id')
    ↓
  merge_scores_to_json.py (matches by 'id')
    ↓
  sekula_index.json + sekula_inventory.json (enriched with photo scores)
