Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I have enabled the setting “Double Click for Link Action” because:
- it is disturbing that any clicks on a link moves me to another node (if internal) or leaves the app
- it enables me to edit the link text using the mouse for precise positioning.
However, with the setting enabled, double-clicking most often just works as “select word” instead of activating the link, and it makes it hard to actually navigate using the links.
Describe the solution you'd like
I believe a Ctrl-Click (like in many terminals for URLs) would be unambiguous action for “open link”, while double-clicking can continue to be a text operation (“select word”).
Thanks for the very useful CherryTree!
