Liza: I don’t understand GitHub pages/Jekyll, so right now we have some kind of blend that doesn’t work. I am used to simpler site builds (like the RDAVIS site) that use a _site.yml. I don’t know how the _config.yml works, but I do like the splash page generated by whatever layout we have that takes the README as the main page. But I don’t know how to add any formatting to it, like to have tabs up top to different pages, so I threw in a _site.yml to see if they would play nice together. They don't, and now I’ve lost the fun splash page we originally had, AND there is no navigating to the vignette page that I built. So, any way you feel would be best to fix this, feel free.
