esp flashing website fails to identify some version changes #38
Description
The flashing website https://iot.groundlight.ai/espcam fails to identify some version changes. This can be replicated by checking out a previous version, flashing a camera using PlatformIO, and then going to the website to try and update it. The website will think the camera is up to date when its version is in fact not.
It's suspected, though not entirely replicated yet, that this causes issues for some devices when attempting to connect to WiFi.
In response, two reasonable proposed options are:
- provide a way to completely reset the device (the equivalent of the platformio clean action)
- Improve version identification on the website
