Sorry, i dont understand that a sentence in your image you send that said we have the distance of the intersection plane to the center.
I understand that we construct two homogeneous planes perpendicular to x and y in the xy coordinate system to get a ray. After the homogeneous coordinate transformation, we still only get two planes and an intersecting ray.
So I am curious about what this intersection plane is?

Hi, assume we have the local transformation T, we can always generate two homogeneous planes given a pixel coordinate (x,y). The distance of gaussian center to each plane should be smaller than a cut-off value. Take x plane as an example: we first transform the x plane hx into the local plane through T; then, we can calculate the distance from the Gaussian center (which is origin here) to the hx plane. With this constraint, we can solve the two x planes that exactly intersect the gaussian plane with distance to its center (origin) to be the cut-off value..
