Still need some testing on the mobiles, one issue that seems to be a problem is that you cannot move around on the playlist as it just moves the songs or video files around, as you can move them around - a lock might be needed for moving the playlist up and down for the mobile, like the file manager does as you cannot move those around. So a lock feature to lock the playlist so you cannot move the media sources on the list around - at least I have not sorted out to go down without just grabbing something for moving it around on the playlist. So we might need a lock for that, maybe.... Not sure, but it seems like the mobile version works better for FPS then the desktop mode - if that is the case, I am not sure if one could then make the desktop version work as a mobile version and gain those FPS, yet still have the desktop layout. I need more testing, installed a multitude of Browsers and need to go through them one by one. |

Okay I have again tested a multitude of browsers for background play on mobile. As they did evil and stopped the default feature. But of cause there is also the issue of FPS, Firefox surely works worse on FPS, but with a plugin does background play. Firefox with plugin, but low FPS. I think Opera might be the best if, but I need to go through them one by one, still having issues with moving up and down in the playlist and all..... But at least one can used it somewhat. I am testing both Mobile and Desktop version, usually the later works best in layout. Probably a Pad that is bigger, might work better then a mobile as it has more space, dunno, not tested it. |

Top is worst and bottom is best, apparently Tør can run it as well but not seem to be able to make a direct link to it sadly. But overall.... Opera seems the best, more testing needed of cause. |

All sorts of weird things happening on mobile, but Opera and Brave seems to be the best browsers for audioMotion and background play. I know both can do 121 FPS pretty smoothly, but it seems Android or something is doing things in the background, so now they are both forced to 30 FPS as a constant, dunno why that is all of sudden happening, some AI rubbish or what not - I have giving both the luxury now of all the power they need they can take, all of them have access to this. But yea, Brave and Opera, seems to be the best for background play on aM media player - I guess one could probably tune the problem to make it run better in some of the other browsers. But overall, Opera and Brave seems to run the aM media player the smoothest without the least issues on speed. Even if it was, or is forcing it to 30FPS, even with that, it still a lot better then those who have issues on speed. And I know those 2 browsers can can do 121 FPS pretty neatly - so.... But at the moment I have it on unlimited which of cause is also only because I am testing stuff. I will turn back to 60FPS at some point. Although I could go lower on the visualizer as well, it does take some stuff from it to run it - I could make a less CPU intensive setting, but I think this is fine to test things with. I could make a preset for slower mobiles as well, might not be a bad thing. But still struggling with things, and my head is not with me as I do not get the perfect sleep. But the mobile can do a max of 120HZ, so the max is 120FPS as well, apparently with it as I found not going beyond what the screen itself can do. But I find it wasteful going beyond 60FPS really, only because I am testing. |

Well, I have some issues getting the sound customizer working with the Browsers and the media it is playing on Android, very annoying, typical issues where Google have ruined things and made it hard to get things working that can enhanced the mobile ability. |

@hvianna Apparently Android have some kinds of hooks - for the sound - and apparent the aM application does not produce any of these or puts the sounds the place Android wants so it can see it and thereby have that other application customized before it reaches the ears of the user. So apparently the sound in the Browsers does seem to work with Viper4Android as it does not "see" it - it seems. I will see if I can post some of the ChatGPT log from my mobile on it. Oh here it is, and indeed Braves background play on youtube did work in Desktop mode - it is just tedious all this nonsense and been going on for many years thanks to Satanic Google. Apparently copy paste won't do - here is a link for the "talk" with ChatGPT trying to figure things out: Not sure if there is a way, you are the big brainy here - I just toy around with minor things as we know :P Now I have not tested further, but it seems to be an aM issue, sorta - that Android does not hook into it with its many silly things. ChatGPT have told me of a hack for the rooted system that might work, who knows - but that would make people need to HACK THE PLANET - and far from everybody have a rooted phone - and not even sure if it would work anyway. Just would be nice if it worked, but I can understand if it not possible - but I just wanted to reach out to the brainy on this, if it is possible or not. Like it would be nice if I could boost the sound for sure in the mobile as it is not very loud by standard on it. And the Sound Customizer, Viper, just helps boosting it. Although thinking about it, I guess you need to be overall rooted to actually use Viper, but there are other applications which works without Root. Although now being banned from the Viper Telegram, this time pretty much my own fault posting some pro life stuff, kinda off topic I understand. But you never know if it saves a life, and that of cause is more important overall. In any case.... Back to sorting out things. At the Library again today. Need to order some short trousers as the other pair I have is pretty broken. And see if I can do some on the aM player - but hey it is interesting to see what it can do on the mobile. And again, Brave and Opera seems to do the best with it and do and allow Background play for it. So that is my 2 choices for it, Brave might be winning a little on the PIP - but both does pretty good and work with the aM player using desktop mode, preferred. |

Tested some further things on the sound on the Android, it seems much of the video that is not hooked into something I guess, is working with the audio Customize - so like Youtube works, My other player with videos works and odysee works as well. |

Okay, I have a good amount of data on the Mobiles now - a question, could we somehow, I think we can, force a kinda desktop version on the mobile. I think we can, I think I did it actually with my other player - although there is a fluke that can make it break. But maybe there is a less hack the planet way to do it.
Like the mobile version is clearly not good - it breaks on so many levels the User Interface is mixed up and it does not look good. If we could, maybe temporary have the full desktop version loading without needing to tell the mobile browser about it. You might have an easy fix, I am not a programmer. I just do some hacking the planet here and there with lots of time to sort whatever out. But it never seem natural for me to do so, I always struggle.
In any case.... I have had this aM player running on my 2 phones, Tank 3 Pro and the Tank 4 Pro testing things, I have had both run 121 FPS with Chrome - which for the tested Browsers have been the best, Firefox really have its issues on FPS speed. Might recommend another Android browser based on Chrome, but for now that is the winner of choice. You can then make an "app" out of aM and have it on the Android "desktop", in lag of remembering what it is called. I have a good amount of pictures but they are on both mobiles so.....
I was first running, aM on the 2 phones and was really surprised how much better the new phone did, until I realized there was a huge difference between the browsers being used, as I used 2 different ones. Wow what a difference in FPS speed. I also had to fix the Hz settings on both phones of cause, and sorted that out as well. Oh well..... I will see if I can maybe make a small video or something to do so, when I am in the Tuk Tuk at some point where I can make some speech noise.
But yea the Tank 3 Pro sits at my left running aM, and the morning I used looking at both fullscreen aM, seeing how they handled things, and sorted out some stuff. See if I have some of the notes.
audioMotion(aM) Media player test on Android 14 phones. aM needs Unlimited FPS setting activated.
8849 Tank 3 Pro (Rooted Magisk)
Software Downthrottle off.
Termux FFmpeg AV1 instances 1.
Refresh rate, 120Hz activated for the specific Apps. (Highest setting letting aM run at max 120FPS for testing, 60Hz/60FPS for daily use)
8849 Tank 4 Pro (Rooted KernelSU)
Software Downthrottle on.
Termux ffmpeg AV1 instances 2.
Refresh Rate, 120Hz activated.
Old Fennec 68.12.0 not working
New Firefox working although usual media issues of needing a restart with media. Slow FPS
Chrome seems to do the very best on speed. Fast FPS.
Desktop mode works best, Mobile mode mess up the User Interface.
3 dots up right corner, Add to Home screen.
Heat
And powerusage
Chrome seems to do best.
I think the older phone was just slower then the knew one, but what was really the thing was the Browser you use. Clearly it runs much much much better in Chrome. Although I do not like google, but...... yea well..... Do not really have any browser I am happy with anymore, the old Firefox one, which I have in the Fennec version can not run aM and it does not read Avif image files either sadly. Still think it is the best browser layout and all..... But Firefox just had to come with a new User Interface when the old was the very best on the marked and had to ruin it with the new. Typically as it goes. Anyway.... I will do more testing, but it looks good overall, and the Desktop User Interface is usable, although you can use the Mobile as well, but it is somewhat deformed and spreed out all over here and there with buttons and all.... If we could just use the desktop version for the mobile, I think that would be the better choice for the user entering into the page, at least it looks nice and good, and it is workable to use it.
