Segmenting words from lines [Lines2Words]

I already have segmented lines, and don't need segmented characters. I only need to segment the words.
How can segment my text-lines into words?

You can visit my repository where I developed the segmentation layers (Image2Lines, Lines2Words, and Words2Chars) here, then you can grab Line2Words segmentation class. It's a basic C++class depending only on OpenCV.

@Christophered If you were able to run the I2C project, you can replace data/1.LineInput/input.jpg with your input image (the full image that contains the lines), after that, you can run the I2C and check the folder data/3.WordOutput_CharacterInput which will contain the words in folders hierarchy).

@Christophered You need to call WordSegmentation::segment function with cv::Mat which represents a line to segment, and you need to pass a vector<cv::Mat> in which the function will populate with words.

@Christophered Well as I've mentioned earlier, this is a naive threshold approach, you need to find the threshold that best fits your images, I've tried the value of 8 and it seems to be working correctly.

NOTE: Please pull before applying the following instructions.

To change the threshold value:

• Go to src/Utilities/Constants.h
• Update the value WORD_SPACING_THRESHOLD, the unit is pixels.
• Rebuild and run again.
