It might be a good idea to add a comment somewhere to let people know WHO did not report on Sundays (and no reporting on Saturdays as well starting in June). So instead of saying it is a complete dataset that contains day by day no. from March to July 2003 across the world, you could maybe let people know data are available for 6 days a week from March to May and 5 days a week for the rest of the period. This affects daily new case increment derived from any of the cumulative numbers.
