Winix blamed for causing errors in core integrations

I've been trying to figure out why my Google Calendar integration is broken, and I came across this issue:

home-assistant/core#139405

and
home-assistant/core#142375

"A custom integration (Winix air purifier) had forced an install of an old version of pyasn1 because of pinning constraints."

I believe I am still seeing effects of this (broken google), and looking through the release history I don't think it's been addressed.

Request for you to please look at this, possibly reach out to AllanPorter for clarification, unless I'm missing something and you've already addressed it.

I don't have control over the packages used in this integration. python-jose does have this old pull-request to bump pyasn1 from 2023. Seems like that project is not actively maintained. Even that itself will not address this unless all the other intermediate packages are also updated.

It also looks like the Winix library isn't being updated, which isn't a good thing. It should probably changed to use a supported JWT toolkit.

That sounds like #98. For some reason, Winix end point does not return any data. The request does succeed though. I don't know if this is intermittent or continuous. Release v1.2.1 changes the behavior to not log this as error.

I have 1.2.1 and I am getting thousands of these errors. I even just had HACS re-download to ensure its up to date.

Although I do have one filter offline and there is no way to disable devices just the whole integration. I cant put the one device back online atm as the room its in is being remodeled.

You can disable a single device. Go into the device and use the pencil icon at top right side.
