Hello, I see that VoiceBox supports macOS 11, but when I install and open it, it crashes.

this is a hard dependency issue. ScreenCaptureKit was introduced in macOS 12.3, so it doesn't exist at all on macOS 11. the voicebox binary was linked against ScreenCaptureKit without a weak_framework guard, so dyld tries to load it at launch and fails immediately when the framework isn't present.

the fix on the developer side is to link ScreenCaptureKit as an optional (weak) framework and guard all SCK API calls behind @available(macOS 12.3, *) checks. this way the app can still launch on macOS 11 and fall back to AVFoundation or CGWindowListCreateImage for screen capture on older systems.

if you just need audio capture on macOS 11 (no screen content), AVAudioEngine with the system default input device works without ScreenCaptureKit. the main thing you lose is per-app audio filtering, which is SCK-only.

as a user workaround, there's unfortunately nothing you can do without updating to at least macOS 12.3. the missing framework is a system-level dependency.
