Feature Request: Audio samples should be commandable

Using Music Sniper, the user can upload files to be used as samples in a MIDI-commanding context. This would be an alternative to using a hardware sampler like SPD-SX. Would be interesting to easily configure SPD-SX as well.

Performance is important here. Obviously samples should be prefetched before recalling the sample.

Also, is this a browser-only feature?
