I just got

WGR800 : Wind Sensor
PCR800 : Rain sensor
THGN800 : Temp & Hum sensor.

Does your parser is ready for OSV3 ? do we have some change to do ?

There would need to be a few changes made to the parser.py module to support v3 sensors:

1. An update of the parseBitStream() function to look for packets that have the shorter v3 preamble,
2. A new parsePacketv3() function to deal with the new packet type, and
3. What ever _parse###() functions are needed for the v3 sensors.

I can't working on parseBitStream() function and a new parsePacketv3() i don't have anyknowlege.

What do you thing about this ?

There isn't much point to writing _parser###() functions for the v3 sensors without the corresponding code that uses them. I also can't really modify the parseBitStream() and parsePacketv3() functions since I don't have any v3 sensors to test with. Adding support for v3 may be beyond the scope of this project at this time.

can you indicate me which line it start ?

Please can you explain me how you got the nibble ? according osv3 does double the bit send

The preamble is checked for on line 324 of parser.py and the data is split into the packet on lines 329 and 337.

Based on the code stub you've provided it doesn't look like the v3 protocol uses bit doubling.

"ds" may be the payload size.

Yes your right there is no double bit doubling with osv3.

Payload ? Is this like number of pluse send ?

The payload would be the data contained in the packet that isn't part of the pre- or post-ambles. I guess you could think of it as the number of pulses sent since each pulse (or lack thereof) would be a bit.

Got a question in Parser.py :
Line 113 rrate = nibbles2value(data[0:12]), 0:12 is the nibble group from data start for rain rate ?

i made a excel doc did i'm on the good way ?
