espeakup > 0.80 locks up when entering or leaving x

After espeakup 0.80 (probably because of the code to suspend espeak on exiting the terminal), once you enter x, espeakup becomes unresponsive. Going back to the console results in no speech. In addition, restarting espeakup with systemd causes systemd to wait until the timeout, then kill espeakup only after which does it restart.

This sounds like what I had fixed in espeak-ng/espeak-ng#479 and espeak-ng/espeak-ng#563 espeak-ng/espeak-ng#573 , could you make sure to be trying with the espeak-ng master git tree? It would probably be good to express a wish for a release there :)

I actually tried with espeak-ng master, but it currently breaks on my system for some weird reason. I'll update you when I try again. -Michael.
