Compile for ARM

Hello,

I am trying to upgrade to AS 6.1 and the last library I miss is StringExt.
It fails to compile for an ARM (X90 Mobile automation target).
I see it uses unreleased tlsf library.

is ther any instruction on where to find this library or is it possible to have a binary for it ?

Project contains hybrid library "tlsf". Support for hybrid libraries has been removed. Please change this library to a source or binary library.

Hello, we currently don't have a releasable version of the TLSF library for AS 6, and it looks like some of the dependencies may have been removed from AS.

The library can be used without TLSF, it just means some of the functions can't be used safely in multiple tasks. I believe the limitation is with printf and time functions.

ARM also doesn't appear to support some of the time functions. There is an open PR you can look at to see the time limitiations.

I'm not sure when we will have a released fix for this, but you should be able to remove the TLSF dependency and time functions referenced in that PR to build for your use, assuming you aren't using those functions.

I just got some new information that the TLSF library may not be required at all anymore and AS 6 has better support for c++.

It sounds like the default heap is using tlsf now.

Most loupe lirbaries are easy to build, but so far I couldn't get websocket library to build, as it heavily depends on threads. I keep trying as time permits, and any clue is appreciated. Lux and websocket are the last missing blocks to get X90 mobile to the 21st century !
