The instructions could have been a little clearer, for example mentioning that after the proxy starts the only thing that will appear in that window are GPU shares. i suppose the benchmark does not need any wallet etc, it gives me a 650MH rating. Now I was expecting my PASCAL wallet to change the message "No JSON-RPC clients" after starting the proxy but no, it still does not mention any connection.

At the beginning of the miner (sm61 in my case with no parameters) I thought nothing was happening, but little by little I started getting the messages in the proxy window as well as the miner output below, which is about 50% slower than the benchmark, is all OK and the only thing missing is more intensity?

An update that may be useful to other newbies as well: It looks like that half-line Real: message above was from binding to some random process, after several tests it looks like the correct behavior in the Proxy window is more like:

There must be some bug in how the hashrate is calculated because after a day or so it even shows negative. I have used the 52 and 61 miners, they both start showing 0 hs and climb to some typical value, 800Mhs on my machine, but occasionally the 61 climbs all the way to 1200Mhs and stays there for hours. Still something else must have gone wrong so that in the last 24 hours hashrate has been hovering around 430Mhs. Anyway it looks like it's working though it hasn't produced any blocks on either Pascalcoin or Pascallite for me after 2 weeks.

What is not working is the java proxy, it seems to produce a neverending error after a day or two, whether running on localhost or over my LAN, and has to be restarted. If only I could find the source code for that!
