Way to show $ before and CAD after for Canadian dollar?

I need to have our US Dollars formatted like this $8.00 which works great, but for Canadian, we need them formatted like this $8.00 CAD but are not finding an easy way to accomplish this with this filter. Am I missing something?

You can extend or create your own filter, e.g:

Vue.filter('canadian', function(value) {
    if (!value) return '';
    return value + ' CAD';
});

Usage: {{ value | currency | canadian }}
