[Power BI] Workload optimization report (Unattached disks - add subscription)

📝 Scenario

I was testing Workload optimization report KQL. We have more than 100 subscriptions, but in Unattached disk/ compute disks table column that would help to identify subscription is missing. There is resource group or location but no Subscription Name. It's possible to filter by subscriptions but find small amounts of disconnected drives is not optimal.

💎 Solution

Add subscription ID/Name or resource ID to Compute disk table.
Also filter to show only reserved/unattached disk would be nice ...

🔍 Triage research

Traced this in the repo — this is a small report-visual gap, not a KQL/data-model gap.

• The underlying semantic model already includes both subscriptionId and the full resource id on the Disks table (src/power-bi/kql/Shared.Dataset/definition/tables/Disks.tmdl).
• The Compute disks table on the Unattached disks page (src/power-bi/kql/WorkloadOptimization.Report/report.json) simply doesn't project subscriptionId / Subscriptions.name / id into the visual — it currently shows name, resourceGroup, location, skuTier, Redundancy, diskState, LastOwnershipUpdateTime, diskSizeGB, diskType, ChargePeriod, EffectiveCost, BilledCost.
• A friendly subscription name is also already available with no new join needed: Subscriptions.name is already related via Disks.id -> Resources.id -> Resources.subscriptionId -> Subscriptions.subscriptionId, and the same page already has a Subscription slicer using it.
• For the "reserved/unattached only" filter request: there's no disk-state slicer today — only a KPI card hard-filters to diskState = 'Unattached'. Adding a Disks[diskState] slicer to the page would cover this, no model changes needed.

Recommended fix

1. Add Subscriptions[name] (friendliest) or Disks[subscriptionId] (smallest diff) to the Compute disks table.
2. Optionally add a Disks[diskState] slicer to the page for a Reserved/Unattached-only filter.

Scope: visual-only change, no ARG/KQL/model changes required — small.

Parity note: the same subscription-column omission exists in the storage variant of this report (src/power-bi/storage/WorkloadOptimization.Report/report.json) — worth fixing both in the same PR.

No duplicate open issue found tracking this specific gap.
