The feed-like report

When I open the novem iOS app, I see the same plots. That got me thinking, what do I really want to see in my feed?

I think the answer is somewhere between the feed as it is today and what data I want to consume.

There are a few data points I want to keep up with, and I think the app is one of the better ways to consume them. I imagine the app/api can keep track of which plots I have seen and not. When I have checked all of them, I see "You are all caught up".

I think maybe the feed is the best place for that?

So the "feed" as it stands now is actually based on an algorithm where we factor in things like recency, connections, likes, comments etc to try and surface the latest and most relevant plots.

Now, due to the small size of the novem user base, there is not a lot of diversity in which plots raises to the top. But hopefully as the platform grows, the feed should start looking a bit more interesting.

However, if i read your feedback correct what you're looking for is some sort of tag daily that gives you a new feed where you can scroll through your daily tags and mark them as read to stay on top of things you would like to check at least once a day?

Initially our thoughts were that these kind of daily summaries would be best placed in an e-mail that could arrive in your inbox at a fixed time containing the latest information about what you cared about.

We are also working on a notification system, where you could be notified about updates to certain plots (subscribe if you like)

But some sort of "daily digest" might make sense
