Question

The default builtin files picker waits for the underlying command to finish execution before presenting results.
This tends to be slow in large code bases.
I am used to fzf.vim where the files picker presents items as they come while the command (rg --files) is still executing.
I searched the docs but I couldn't figure out how to achieve the same functionality with mini.pick.
Is it doable? and how to do it?

No, I am afraid this is not possible. Mostly by design: both to lower code complexity and because I never really understood the use case (besides maybe better visuals). Filtering and sorting may become outdated as new items come, which feels like not a great usability to me.

What is possible is to type the query even before results appear. So users don't have to wait until results are shown to start filtering them.
