Found AppManager after a review by "The Linux Experiment" vodcast and thought WOW... this is EXACTLY what Mint needs.
Here is a quick screengrab which is entirely self-explanatory.
One of the biggest issues I have supporting my team is with the AppImages they download. They universally get stuck on how to use and "install" them. My team (of 30) are mostly Mac users and the boss is keen to migrate them to Mint (we have ~1/3rd the office done now).
As we pick up more people fleeing Windows/Apple, this small tool will assist them with their transitions.
This neato tool looks like it would slot right into the ethos of Mintiness quite nicely.
Obviously I will be installing this on the teams PCs once Ive ensured its goodness :-)
