Feature Request ffmpeg trasncoding offload to video card

I run Lyrion server on a old 32bit system with one core. It would be nice if I could select /dev/dri/renderD128 for ffmpeg to use while transcoding streams from SiriusXM.

Sorry, didn't notice I didn't have this repo setup for notifications. Are you sure your ffmpeg binary is compiled for offloading? Not sure how common that is.

The ffmpeg commandline is generated from the playHLS plugin, you should be able to edit the custom-convert for that plugin to generate the ffmpeg commandline you want.

Paul, no worries, I figured you would see my post eventually. Looking at the ffmpeg documentation it looks like it's possible.

You don't need me to test this out.

If you look in playHLS plugin folder, you will see a custom-convert.conf file. This is the ffmpeg command line that gets used. (The source audio is the url to the sxm-proxy.)

Now just run ffmpeg from an ssh session and experiment with the command line options. (Just redirect the actual audio to /dev/null when experimenting) Once you get something that works, you can either create your own custom-convert.conf or edit the custom-convert.conf in the playHLS plugin folder.
