Icons against todos and notes not showing on Windows

Describe the bug
On Windows, the icons are not showing for Todo and Notes. Is there any way this can be fixed? I already have Nerd Fonts set in the Windows Terminal as well as the editor I use (Wezterm. In wezterm config, I've set the Jetbrains NerdFonts). So, the font may not be an issue. Also, no new/custom config was added. Everything is what config came by default. However, I'm wondering, is there a specific font required for taskline?

1. Add some todos and notes as shown below and check a todo

Expected behavior
Proper Icons should appear against the todos and notes

Hi @aniketgm no font should be required, will have a look this weekend.

Hi @perryrh0dan,
This issue occurs because the figures package uses fallback ASCII symbols (like [ ] ) on terminals that don't support Unicode, especially on windows. This is why some symbols look different.
What do you suggest is the best way to fix this?

@adityay72, I believe this might be already known about "figures" package that defaults to ASCII symbols for old consoles, no matter windows/linux. However, as mentioned in my original post, I'm using is Windows Terminal (WT) and Wezterm, (all latest terminal emulators), both of which support Unicode (out-of-the-box). However, still the icons are not visible (Font: JetBrains Nerd Font). The screenshot is from WT and the prompt is customized as well with unicode font. So, the issue might be someplace else not with 'figures'
