According to my bechmarks, Yarr is less than 2 times slower than OpenCV (in single threaded mode), and Repa less than 2 times slower than Yarr. In your results, both pure Haskell libs are slower by orders of magnitute than OpenCV. Something went wrong.

Yes, something is going wrong. I have put INLINE pragmas on the image processing functions but not yet seriously tried to reproduce your measurements. New results.

@phischu as I see results became even worse. Well, if it so hard to achieve good performance, it's fair to deem that tools perform only that well as easily achievable
