Increased granularity for monitors? #455
Description
Today's brief outage was a use case for making certain monitors run at the granularity of measurements rather than hourly, e.g. export_ring_latency which runs every 10 minutes. The danger with defaulting the monitor-granularity to the metric-granularity, is the possibility of say 1sec granularity metrics.
And there's the gui granularity selection component to this...
Just documenting so we can talk about it (and likely reject it, but maybe not).
