The problem

I researched this, and I found that when I start a chat and keep it open, the app crashes within 15 minutes or less—even if I am still interacting with the Shiny app (ruling out a connection timeout by the Shiny server). This behavior only occurs when I open a shinychat instance within the app that uses the shinychat and elmer packages.

Update:
I checked and found that the streaming chat or some techniques used in shinychat/elmer send data to the client very frequently. When the browser's memory usage becomes high, the error occurs.

When I replace the streaming chat with message chat (without streaming), the tools feature in the elmer instance doesn't work.
