What's New

Per-monitor wallpaper support — each Wayland output now gets its own LayerSurface, wgpu Surface, and RenderState.

Changes

• Wallpapers can be set per-output via --monitor on CLI
• wallr monitor list and wallr monitor current now query the daemon for real output info
• Per-output last wallpaper persistence (wallr/last_wallpaper/{output_name})
• File watcher applies new images to all connected outputs
• IPC Pause/Resume affect all outputs simultaneously
• Badges updated to black bg, white text

Test Results

All features verified:

• Scaling modes: fill, fit, stretch, center, tile
• IPC: status, info, pause, resume
• Monitor list/current
• GIF animated playback
• Video playback with hw fallback
