"What's new" not working when browser location disabled

What's new not working when browser location disabled. This should only be the case for the "What's around"

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to "Start Page"
2. Click on "What's new" with location disabled in browser, or block location request
3. Nothin is happening and no Feedback for the user

Expected behavior
Should get on the "What's new" page and see new Atoms
