Error using the Wav TRigger Arduino Serial Library

I am trying to use the wav trigger with an arduino and I download and install both the WAV Arduino Trigger Serial Library and the AltSoftSerial library.
When I load the AltSoftSerial example code and compile, it gives me no error message and everything is working fine.
When I load the Wav Trigger Basic code example I'm getting the following error (see attached file)

How can I fix it and make it work?

Hi, I haven't had to recompile my application in a while but a quick look at my code shows that I am using the angle bracket notation to include this library. Are you sure you installed the library in the correct place? I seem to recall that the Arduino IDE was a little finicky about where it expects to find things. I'm using a different computer right now so I can't check my settings.

to install the library I did the following:
download the zip file from in here (github) then I open the Arduino >> sketch >> include library >> add .ZIP Library.. >> selected the zip file I downloaded.
